The bucketlist - Reading away!

Completely unrelated to the text, I just couldn't not post it

A few weeks ago I was attending a meeting where all the participants did a short presentation of them selves. The first two told of an upcoming travel to the Netherlands where they were to stay at an old convent. Another vacation to a convention in England would follow a few months later.

The third participant was telling how they were going to LA for 7 weeks at the end of the year. They normally go 3 months every year, but this year they had spent 2 months in Thailand already and felt maybe being home a little was nice too.

And me, I told them that my children had chicken pox!

It was a sad, sad moment for me.

But it got me thinking that maybe it was time for something new, something more, and so within a few days the bucketlist was created.

One of my favorite points of the list is reading 40 books from this list "1001 books to read before you die". Since I believe there is no time like the present and dived right in. Three days later I finished "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.

I think I fell in love with my bucketlist halfway through that book. If that bucketlist made me have these amazing experiences with this book it could only be a good thing. A great thing actually!

And so now I've begun reading "Jane Eyre", and though I am still in the depressing part of the book *sigh* good things lie ahead. Yum!

Lene!

Ps. Yes, again unrelated, but look at that kid ...

Today on our way home from Sweden he said to me: "What if ... what if there was so many moles in the world, that we couldn't walk anywhere".

"Yes", I answered, "then we might step on some of them."

"Ha ha, then they would become all flat" was his happy reply.
